'mlkwood' is an independently run store, selling artisan-made products of timeless quality.

The primary range of products being homeware, coffee or gifts, and each item stocked is hand-picked, then curated in such a way to promote the product itself and the craftsperson who created it.

The inspiration for the store's name came from the poem "Under Milkwood" - Dylan Thomas, this intriguing piece of writing describes a lulled fishing town (one much like our own) and the many interlinking stories whirring in the minds of its inhabitants while they sleep.
In the future, we will delve into detail as to why we chose not to use the 'I' in 'mlkwood' and why the nocturnal themes described within the poem ring so true with us.
